It was a close call for a man Monday evening after he hit a deer while riding his motorcycle on the 417.
The collision happened at 7:25 near Terry Fox Dr. on the Queensway.
The 50-year-old man was thrown nearly 100 feet off his bike on to the highway.
Paramedics treated the man for head, chest, neck, back, and lower leg injuries and was transported to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
This comes just days after a 36-year-old man was killed after his motorcycle hit a deer in North Glengarry.
