Ottawa man sentenced to six months in jail after high speed police chase
An Ottawa man has been handed a six month jail sentence after leading cops on a high speed chase on highway 417 last month.
20-year-old Kevin Joanisse was clocked going close to 180 km/h on the Queensway after the police were trying to pull him over for driving with expired plates.
Cops were able to stop him, but not before he hit another car, which overturned and landed in a ditch.

The woman who was driving the overturned vehicle was trapped for over an hour before she was rescued.
