Mexican police investigate Ottawa woman’s murder

Mexican police are investigating the gruesome murder of an Ottawa woman, 250-kilometres northwest of Mexico City.
64-year-old Judy Baylis was found dead last Wedneday night by a maid.
They say Baylis was stabbed 21 times in her home in the town of San Miguel, a picturesque city popular with retirees and artists from other countries.
Baylis’ husband, Ottawa dentist Dr. John Baylis, says his wife likely knew the attacker.
Dr. Baylis was in Ottawa when the murder happened.
The couple had been married for 39 years and have three adult children.
