Jannik Hansen files for arbitration

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – The Vancouver Canucks have an arbitration case to get ready for as the agent for forward Jannik Hansen filed for salary arbitration this morning as first reported by News1130 Sports .

Hansen made $825,000 last season when he scored 29 points in the regular season, followed by nine more points during the club’s long post-season run.

Hansen was awarded that $825,000 salary last summer when the team took him to arbitration. Coming off his best season, Hansen could be looking to more than double his salary from last year.

The arbitration hearing begins in Toronto on July 20th.
