Prince William and Kate, are getting a little taste of country after landing in Calgary, Thursday, on the last leg of their Canadian visit.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge arrived in a Canadian Forces helicopter and they were greeted by a young cancer patient.
Kate chatted with the little girl who gave her a bouquet of flowers.
The royal couple has also been presented with white Smithbilt hats, a symbol of the city of Calgary, given out for more than 60 years to royalty, politicians and celebrities.
But, there’s a British twist. Retailers in the city are selling Stampede Fascinators, with mini cowboy hats attached to headbands — the hats made so popular at the royal wedding.
The Alberta boot company has also crafted cowboy boots for the royal couple.
Will and Kate are attending a reception on the Stampede grounds Thursday night hosted by Prime Minister Stephen Harper.
On Friday, they will be part of the Stampede parade to end their nine-day Canadian tour.
