Council to vote on revised LRT plan Thursday

City council will vote Thursday on the revised LRT plan.

The $2.1 billion plan, if passed, would set the shortlist of construction firms  to do the project  by October.

You will have a chance to address council Thursday if you wish.

The deputy mayor says  if this does pass the city should immediatly allow  massive development along the LRT route.

Steve Deroches tells The Sun the city cannot be frozen in time, taller buildings would have to be allowed on the route.
