Car slams into Bank St. apartment building

An apparent new driver slammed into an apartment building across from Billings Bridge Plaza, Thursday morning.
The accident involving a silver Toyota Corolla happened just before 9:00 a.m.
The woman driving the car plowed it into the lobby of an apartment building, located at 1365 Bank St.
This woman told 1310News what she saw, “I guess she was pulling up and there was a car that was very close to her, so to avoid the car she hit the gas pedal. And when she hit the gas pedal, she got scared and hit the gas pedal again […].”
Luckily, there were no serious injuries.
