Alert Road faces possible closure

Some potential bad news for plane spotter as the Sun is reporting parts of, and perhaps all of Alert Road could be shut down permanently as soon as May of next year.

Alert Road is the choice spot for aviation enthusiasts who want to watch the planes take off from the airport. Airport spokesperson Krista Kealey tells the Sun it would be premature to say the road was closing, but if it does, it would be done to improve airport security and road safety.
