Canada unsure about what role it will play in Libya

World leaders have wrapped short, but intense talks on how they can help Libya shift to a democratic country following the Gadhafi regime.
Canada’s exact role in the global effort has yet to be determined.
Prime Minister Stephen Harper says Canada is examining a number of ways it could help and is also taking into account the needs of the new leadership.
He took a first step by lifting unilaterally-imposed sanctions on Libya, which frees up Canadian companies to work with the new government.
Harper says he hopes businesses are aggressive in courting potential new markets in Libya, but stressed that’s not the reason Canada got involved in NATO’s military mission there in the first place.
He says Canada remains committed to participating in that mission as long as its needed.
