Possible Air Canada flight attendant strike September 21

TORONTO, Ont. – Air Canada flight attendants have voted almost 98 per cent in favour of walking out as early as September 21.
The vote on a strike mandate was held between September 4 and September 13.
Jeff Taylor, president of the Air Canada Component of CUPE said the results of the vote do not mean they will go on strike and they still hope a tentative deal can be reached.
Should further negotiations be unable to come to a deal both sides can agree upon, Air Canada flight attendants could be on strike at the earliest on Sept. 21, at 00:01 a.m.
The union represents Air Canada’s 6,800 flight attendants.
