Navan man killed in tractor rollover

A man has died in a lawn tractor accident on Thursday evening in Navan, east of Ottawa.
Fire officials say the man was trapped under a large utility lawn tractor that had rolled over into a ditch.
The first firefighters on the scene found that the man was trapped and submerged in about half a metre of water underneath his tractor.
A firefighter, who had responded in his personal vehicle, used chains and his pickup to lift the tractor off the trapped man.
Paramedics and firefighters began CPR but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
