No shortage of opportunities for anyone looking for some good eating in the capital today.
In Vanier, local farmers and restaurants are facing off in a heated competition to see who can make the best tourtiere.
Since 10 o’clock this morning, seven of the Vanier Farmer Market restaurants have been preparing their secret meat pie recipes and presenting them to a panel of judges.
The tourtiere competition is at the parking lot of Scotiabank, at the corner of Hannah Street and Montreal Road.
And heading west, you’ll find the taste of Wellington West, on 11am to 6:30 this evening.
People can see arts performances and taste food from several different restaurants in the area.
