Ottawa to get transferable bus passes

The eternal line up to buy monthly bus passes will soon be a thing of the past.
Ottawa city councillor Stephen Blais tweeted Wednesday the city will be getting transferable bus passes.
The Presto card replaces paper tickets and the current pass and can be loaded like a gift card.
Users will be able to put money on the cards several ways, including in store, online and through automatic credit-card payments.
Transit riders should be able to get their hands on the presto system in 2012.
