Say goodbye to summer

It’s the final day of summer, and soon the leaves will be changing to the vibrant colours we have come to associate with autumn.
The summer of 2011 was full of festivals, fairs, and long days at the beach.
1310News Reporter Robyn Miller spoke to some Ottawan’s who reminisced about the last few months.
“Too short,” was a common feeling for several people.
Others said they spent many sunny days at Calypso Water Park, camping, or at the park with their children.
“I spent most of my summer fishing, so I’ve had a lot of good times on the water,” said one man.
As we wake up Friday morning and welcome the start of fall, maybe, we can be thankful it’s falling leaves instead of snowflakes.
