Record breaking tempertatures in Ottawa this weekend

A broad ridge of high pressure brought record breaking temperatures to portions of Ontario Saturday.

Ottawa’s record for October 8th was set back in 2004 at 24.7 degrees. That record was beaten Saturday when the temperature reached 25.5 degrees.

Records were also broken in Sudbury, North Bay, Timmons, Kapuskasing, Geraldton and Moosonee.
