Nickelback responds to NFL petition

Some call them the band people love to hate.
Now over 75, 000 people have signed a petition at change.org, expressing their outrage that Nickelback will be performing at the halftime show during today’s Detroit Lions game against the Green Bay Packers.
Those NFL fans want to see an American act to play the show.

It seems though, that the boys from Alberta aren’t fazed by the petition. They are taking the ‘Nickelback-lash‘ in stride!
They have actually mocked themselves in a satirical video on the website “funnyordie.com”.
In the clip, a talent agent tells them what they need to do to turn around their staggering unpopularity.
The boys in the band get makeovers and end up dressed as Detroit greats like Robocop and Tom Selleck.
The game between the Detroit Lions and the Green Bay Packers gets underway today at 12:30 p.m.
