The holiday season is often the time many of us think about making donations.
UNICEF is reminding you about Survival Gifts, a program to help children in parts of the world affected by poverty, conflict and natural disaster.
Sue Larkin with UNICEF Canada says you can get it all done online.
“Survivalgifts.ca and of course you can always go to the UNICEF website and find all the information you need right there,” Larkin said.
The program offers 45 items, including vaccines, water purification tablets, or a bed net to protect from mosquitoes.
Larkin says there’s another reason you can feel good about the donation.
“It’s a complete donation so you do receive a tax receipt as well for your gift for supporting kids,” she said.
