Two people facing charges connected to Blackburn robberies

Two Ottawa people have been arrested in connection with 40 home robberies in Blackburn dating back to June 2010.

133 charges were laid against the two suspects, who were arrested last Friday.

Police say at this point, they haven’t been able to recover much stolen property, but they are hoping that will change as the investigation continues.

45-year-old Stephen M. Paquette and 21-year-old Christina Carsons are each facing dozens of break and enter and theft charges.
