Head of Ottawa’s Hells Angels faces drug charge

OTTAWA – The big boss of the Hells Angels in Ottawa has managed to avoid major prison time so far, but his luck may be running out.
The Ottawa Citizen has reported Paul a.k.a “Sasquatch” Porter who got his nickname for his over six-foot, 300-plus pound frame was arrested and charged with possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking and proceeds of crime.
His arrest came after a quarter-kilogram of cocaine and cash were seized during a police check in September 2009.
Porter’s next court date is slated for April and he could face a life sentence.
The 49-year-old made his way through the biker gang ranks in Montreal and eventually founded its rival drug gang, the Rock Machine, which waged a bloody biker war in the 1990’s.
