New scoreboard up at Scotiabank Place

OTTAWA – Just in time for Tuesday’s hockey game against the Montreal Canadiens, Ottawa Senators fans can now catch a glimpse of the new scoreboard at Scotiabank Place for the first time.
Crews began taking removing the old scoreboard following the game against the Florida Panthers last Thursday.
The $5 million project won’t be completed until the N-H-L All Star Game in January, but the four main video panels with a 2,170 square-foot viewing area have been installed and are ready to be displayed.
The old scoreboard screens only had a viewing area of 300 square-feet.
