Another Canadian has been found murdered in Mexico, marking the second such incident this week.
The latest was a PhD student from the University of British Columbia, although it’s unclear whether she was in the country for research purposes.
The bodies of the woman and her boyfriend were found earlier this week on a beach south of Acapulco.
Both had been stabbed in the neck and set on fire, with investigators looking at robbery as a possible motive in their death.
A BC man was shot and killed in Mexico in a home invasion south of Puerto Vallarta.
