Freezing rain warning in effect

An area of patchy freezing rain and freezing drizzle has developed over far eastern Ontario.
This has resulted in the freezing rain warning for Ottawa, Gatineau, Prescott and Russell, and Cornwall and Morrisburg. The warning will continue into Saturday evening.
Environment Canada suggests commuters use extra caution as roads and sidewalks may become icy. The freezing rain is expected to come to an end later this morning.
