Sens face the NHL’s top team

NEW YORK – It’s a battle between two of the hottest teams in the NHL, as the New York Rangers host the Ottawa Senators at Madison Square Garden.
The Senators are 7-2-1 in their last ten games and now sit 5th in the eastern conference; the Rangers are 9-1-0 in their last ten; they have won five games in a row and sit 1st overall in the NHL.
The Sens receive a boost for the game, as Erik Karlsson returns from an upper body injury. He was not in the line-up for Tuesday night’s 5-1 win over the Penguins. Matt Carkner is the odd man out. He will be a healthy scratch to make room for Karlsson.
It looks as though Brandon Dubinsky is out of the Rangers line-up; Wojtek Wolski is in.
Wolski will have his head up throughout this game – the last time he took on the Senators he hit Daniel Alfredsson with a elbow that caused a concussion.
After the game the Sens will head to Montreal for a Saturday night date with the Canadiens.
