Congo protest underway downtown

Protesters are marching through the downtown in support of women in the Democratic Republic of Congo who have been raped and beaten. They are doing everything in their power for to stop this.

They will also be marching to protest recent election results in that country.

The protesters will be marching to the 24 Sussex and the Congolese Embassy.

Police are keeping a close watch with extra vehicles on the hill today.

This is one of a series of demonstratinos as protesters say they want Canada and other countries to investigate the election results in the Democratic Republic of Congo
