OTTAWA, Ont. – You’d better start practicing how to place your order at Tim Hortons.
The chain has changed the names of their cup sizes.
Now if you want a small coffee, you order an extra small. The current medium-sized coffee will become the small size.
What is now a large coffee will be known as a medium. The extra large coffee becomes the large size.
Tim Hortons is also introducing a new 24-ounce extra large cup.
The chain assures its customers that while the names may be changing, the amount of coffee you get and the prices will stay the same.
The sizes are being introduced after a test phase. The company said the customer response was overwhelmingly positive.
The cup-size shift also brings Tim Hortons sizes more in-line with competitors including Starbucks, Second Cup and McDonalds.
