A blizzard wallops Newfoundland

There are flight delays and cancellations at St. John’s International Airport thanks to a snowstorm hitting Newfoundland.
Blizzard and blowing snow warnings are in effect for several regions, including the Avalon and Bonavista peninsulas.
Up to 20 centimetres of snow is forecast for some areas with wind gusts to 100 kilometres an hour.
