Second victim in Eaton Centre shooting dies

TORONTO, Ont. – A 22-year-old man injured in a shooting at the Eaton Centre has died.

The man’s name cannot be released due to a court-ordered publication ban.

Police say he died of his injuries Monday night.

The man was among six people wounded in the June 2 shooting in the food court.

24-year-old Ahmed Hassan, of Toronto, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The youngest person injured in the shooting was a 13-year-old boy, who was struck by a stray bullet. He was released from hospital Monday.

23-year-old Christopher Husbands is facing one charge of first-degree murder as well as attempted murder charges.

Police say they believe the shooting was the result of a personal dispute and was not gang-motivated.
