Toronto man on the mend after pet bulldog bites his crotch

TORONTO – Down boy.

A Toronto man is expected to recover after being bitten in the groin by a pet bulldog.

Police say the American bulldog broke out of its cage on Tuesday night in an apartment (in the Davenport and Avenue Road area) in central Toronto.

Spokesman Tony Vella says the man was taken to hospital following the attack suffering from a serious, but non-life threatening, injury.

The dog has been taken away from his owner and put under quarantine for 10 days.
