Ottawa Senators to face Pittsburgh Penguins in round 2

The Pittsburgh Penguins defeated the New York Islanders 4-3 in overtime in game 6 to win the series 4 games to 2.
So that means it’s the Pens and Sens in round 2 of the Eastern Conference Semi-Final.
Pittsburgh won the season series 3-0, but Ottawa managed a shootout loss back on January 27th, which was the last game Jason Spezza played in.
It was also against Pittsburgh that Erik Karlsson was injured by Penguins forward Matt Cooke when he stepped on the reigning Norris Trophy winner’s achilles tendon on February 13th.
In their final meeting of the season April 22nd, the Penguins took the 3-1 win without a majority of their stars. Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin, James Neal, Kris Letang and Marc-Andre Fleury were among the Penguins missing.
Game 1 will be in Pittsburgh but the date is still to be determined.
