Ottawa rocked by 5.2 magnitude earthquake

OTTAWA, Ont. – Ottawa was hit with a 5.2 magnitude earthquake at 9:43 a.m. Friday, according to Earthquakes Canada. The epicentre was located about 18 km from Shawville, QC, followed by a magnitude 4.1 aftershock about ten minutes later.
The earthquake was felt across the province including, in Ottawa, Braeside, Arnprior, Prescott, Renfrew, North Gower and Richmond. There are reports it was even felt as far away as Syracuse, NY and Sarnia, ON.
There are no reports of any major damage.
