Arson Unit called in to east-end bistro fire

OTTAWA – An early-morning fire at an east-end bistro is being treated as an arson.
Fire crews were called to La Vague Bistro Lounge, at the corner of Innes and Bantree, around 2:50 a.m. on Tuesday. A passerby had spotted flames.
The fire was quickly knocked down and no injuries were reported.
Damage is estimated at $600,000.
The Ottawa Police Arson Unit has been called to take over the investigation.
