Shawville man facing second-degree murder charges

SHAWVILLE, Que – A Shawville man is facing murder charges following an altercation Monday night.

Police were called to a home on Victoria Street in Shawville around 11:30 p.m., where they found Brian Brousseau suffering from stab wounds.

He died in hospital Tuesday morning.

Troy Allen, 32, appeared in a Gatineau court on Tuesday and was charged with second-degree murder.

Allen will appear in court again on June 12.
