New 417 construction closures

OTTAWA – Construction on the LRT and widening the Queensway are causing new lane reductions and closures on the 417, this week:
- eastbound offramp to St-Laurent is now reduced to one lane until the fall of 2015
- all westbound lanes of the 417 between the 174 merge and St-Laurent will be closed for multiple periods up to 15 minutes each, between 1 and 4 a.m. while workers remove an overhead sign
- eastbound lanes of the 417 will have overnight lane closures between Nicholas and the 174, Monday-Thursday
- westbound lanes of the 417 will have overnight lane closures between Vanier Pkwy. and St-Laurent, next week
