OTTAWA – A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for the Ottawa area by Environment Canada.
The watch is in effect for areas including Ottawa, Gatineau, Smiths Falls, Renfrew, Pembroke, Cornwall, Brockville and Kingston.
Environment Canada issues watches when there is the possibility of severe weather developing.
