The LCBO is out with an advertisement which reads “thank your teacher for a great year with an LCBO gift card.”

The Toronto Star reports that some parents are upset with the ad which features a mock chalkboard and the letters A-B-C, which appear to be geared towards children.

The LCBO said that wasn’t the intention and it’s not encouraging young people to do anything.

Tuesday is the last day of school for high school students at the Toronto District School Board. Elementary children will be out for the summer on Friday.
