Queensway to close this weekend for bridge replacement

OTTAWA – Another rapid bridge replacement is planned this weekend on the Queensway.

The 417 will be closed this weekend in both directions, at Carling, from 6 p.m. Saturday until 11 a.m., Sunday. That’s when construction crews will slide out the old overpass and slide in the new one.

Kirkwood Avenue will also be closed, underneath the highway, as well as the westbound onramp from Parkdale and the eastbound onramp from Maitland to the 417.
