Weezer headlines day six of Bluesfest

OTTAWA – The 20th annual RBC Royal Bank Bluesfest returns Wednesday after taking a day off and there’s no shortage of great talent set to hit the stages.
Weezer will headline the main stage at 9:30 p.m., best known for songs like Buddy Holly, Say It Ain’t So, Beverly Hills and Hash Pipe.
Also on Wednesday’s bill, the psychedelic band Animal Collective will play the main stage at 7 p.m. and Canadian pop-rockers Mariana’s Trench will perform on the Claridge Stage at 8 p.m.
If you’re looking to watch some hip hop acts, check out the River Stage at 6 p.m. for Killer Mike, followed up by El-P at 7 p.m.
Beyonce’s sister Solange, with a soulful pop-R&B sound all her own, will also perform. She hits the River Stage at 8:15 p.m.
On Thursday, The Tragically Hip headline the main stage before Matt Good and Great Big Sea perform on Friday.
