Nepean Woods Park and Ride opens Monday

OTTAWA – Barrhaven commuters will have a third option when it comes to parking their car and taking a bus.
OC Transpo’s latest Park and Ride lot opens on Monday at the Nepean Woods transit station, near the corner of Woodroffe and Strandherd.
The lot features 342 parking spaces, which can be expanded to up to 765 in the future should there be an increase in demand.
The Nepean Woods Park and Ride includes new shelters for passengers, accessible parking, a drop off/pick up zone, emergency call boxes and new cycling path connections.
Bus routes 94 and 176 will run through Nepeans Woods Station seven days a week.
