Kathleen Wynne announces cabinet shuffle

TORONTO – Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne has announced a cabinet shuffle shortly after Municipal Affairs and Housing Minister Linda Jeffrey said she is leaving provincial politics to run for mayor of Brampton, Ont.

Among the changes, Bill Mauro takes over Jeffrey’s portfolio, Kevin Flynn becomes minister of labour, Ottawa-Centre MPP Yasir Naqvi becomes minister of community safety and correctional services and MPP for Ottawa-Vanier, Madeline Meilleur is the new attorney general.
