Events cause weekend road closures

OTTAWA — A number of road closures are in effect across the city for weekend events.

West Fest closes Richmond Rd. between McRae and Berkley all weekend.

Italian Week festivities close Preston St. Friday and Saturday.

Ottawa River Triathlon & Duathlon closes the westbound lanes of Sir. John A. MacDonald Pkwy. between Island Park Dr. and Carling Ave. Saturday from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.
