Soaring gas prices, Ottawa RedBlacks on Monday’s Talk to the Hand

OTTAWA – Soaring gas prices, the Ottawa RedBlacks exhibition debut, the Acoustics for Cancer Awareness fundraiser in support of the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation and the latest from the Raelian movement are some of the other topics being discussed on Talk to the Hand.

Monday’s show rundown:

-Dita Kuhtey of the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Commission talks to Ed about ‘Living the Millionaire lifestyle’ event on Sparks Street Monday.

-1310’s Alex Black and Caroline Franks of the Salvation Army talk to Ed about this weekend’s Acoustics for Cancer Awareness concert.  Cancer survivor and MC Pablo Coffey will also join them along with Kim Vincent of the headliners ‘The Red Rails.’

-Nicole Bertrand of the Raelian movement talks to Ed about her group’s call for an Embassy for Extraterrestrials in Canada.

-Ottawa RedBlacks head coach Rick Campbell talks to Ed about the team’s exhibition debut and preparations for this week’s game against Montreal.

-Ed talks to Roger McKnight of EnPro International about rising gas prices.

-Liam Maguire talks to Ed about the results of the Stanley Cup finals.

 

The talk show is hosted by veteran broadcaster Ed Hand on 1310News Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
