Ottawa tutor facing sexual assault charges, in court Friday

OTTAWA – An Ottawa tutor is facing sexual assault charges.

Police began an investigation Sunday when a parent alleged that his daughter had been sexually assaulted by a male tutor.

Mohammad Ali, 66, was charged Thursday with one count each of sexual assault, sexual exploitation and sexual interference.

He is to appear at the Elgin Street Courthouse Friday.
