OTTAWA – A new head coach for the Ottawa 67’s, World Cup 2014 action, a call for change for Ottawa’s taxi industry and a young Ottawa woman who once lived on the streets and has now graduated law school are some of what’s being discussed on Talk to the Hand Friday when Randall Moore of CHEZ106 takes over for Ed Hand.
Friday’s show rundown:
-Randall speaks with Raphaëlle Ferland, a young Ottawa woman who was living on the streets and has now graduated law school
-Randall speaks to Jonathan McLeod, an Ottawa resident and fellow with Canadian Council for Democracy, who thinks Ottawa should open up its taxi industry and change regulations
-Evan Malamud, the father of a boy with autism, talks about Home Runs for Autism. Malamud will swing the bat with his friend and former Major League slugger Jose Canseco.
-Sportsnet’s James Sharman joins Randall to talk about the World Cup.
-Randall speaks to the Ottawa 67’s new head coach Jeff Brown about his new job
