Ontario bean sprout recall

There’s a recall of bean sprouts in Ontario.

Fresh Sprout International is recalling Fresh Sprouts brand fresh bean sprouts due to possible salmonella contamination.

Consumers are warned not to eat Fresh Sprouts brand sprouts in the 454 gram package with a best-before date of July 7, 2014.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency says the recalled product should be thrown out or returned to the store where it was purchased.
