Ottawa announced as host city for 2016 One Young World Summit

OTTAWA – The nation’s capital has been named as the host city for the 2016 One Young World Summit.

One Young World is a UK-based not-for-profit organization aimed at empowering young people to make lasting connections to create positive change.

Ottawa was in the running against three other cities; Bangkok, Hong Kong and Kobe.

Bangkok will host the 2015 summit. Previous summits have been held in Europe, North America and Africa.
