Man faces attempted murder charge after Kingston stabbing

KINGSTON — A 30 year-old man has been charged with attempted murder after an early morning stabbing incident in Kingston, Ont.

According to police, two Kingston-area men started fighting just before 5 a.m. Tuesday and officers were called to the scene where a 39-year-old man was found bleeding.

He was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries, and police say he is currently listed in serious but stable condition.

A man, whose name has yet to be released, was arrested shortly after.

He also faces two counts of breach of probation and weapons-related charges.
