Hunt Club Road Extension officially opens

OTTAWA – The Hunt Club Road Extension has officially opened.

MPP John Fraser, Mayor Jim Watson and Councillor Diane Deans helped commemorate the opening around 9 a.m. Thursday.

The extension connects Hawthorne Road to Highway 417, and will act as a link between east and south Ottawa.

The $56 million project began in October 2011.
