Additional charges in online harassment case for ‘Scotty Toppers’

OTTAWA – A 29 year-old man who’s been accused of harassing more than 20 women online under the alias “Scotty Toppers”, is now facing five additional charges.

Police charged Nicolas Decarlo of Ottawa on Wednesday with four new counts of harassment and one count of mischief to data.

He was arrested back in late July after police executed a search warrant on a home in Orleans.

Decarlo also faces charges including extortion, criminal harassment, drug possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of break and enter tools, theft, and possession of stolen property.
