OTTAWA – A report into how technology has become a distraction for students, whether or not banning homework in elementary school would benefit students and the 50 hottest job markets in Canada are some of the topics being discussed on Talk to the Hand.
Tuesday’s show rundown:
-Dr. Joel Westheimer of uOttawa talks to Ed about whether or not eliminating homework for elementary students would lead to better results.

-Hugh McKee, Vice President Customer Segments with BMO, talks to Ed about the new report on students confidence in their degree securing their future.
-Jay Ingram of the Council of Canadian Academies talks to Ed about the new report which shows Canadians rank high in the world when it comes to knowledge and appreciation for the sciences.
-Daniel Rathwell, chair of the organizing committee for Recovery Day Ottawa, talks to Ed about annual event to celebrate those who are recovering from addiction.
The talk show is hosted by veteran broadcaster Ed Hand Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
