Valley teens facing long list of charges

RENFREW – Two local teens are facing a long list of charges in connection to a number of incidents involving a stolen vehicle in Renfrew County.

A truck was stolen from O’Brien Road in Renfrew on August 26; OPP were called to a hit and run involving that stolen vehicle the next morning in Pembroke.

Police then got a report of stolen gas in Golden Lake before spotting the vehicle driving erratically in Eganville.

Tiara Scully, 18 of Renfrew, faces charges of theft of a motor vehicle, theft, possession of stolen property over $5,000 and failing to stop at the scene of an accident.

She is due in Killaloe Court October 1.

Meanwhile, a 17-year-old Eganville boy is facing a slew of charges including dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, theft of a motor vehicle, flight while pursued by policeand failing to stop at the scene of an accident.

He remains in custody, and will not be named.
